阳江市位于广东省西南部沿海,是一个滨海城市,海洋是阳江社会经济发展的生命线。阳江的优势在海,发展潜力也在海。近十几年来,阳江市在开发利用海洋资源方面取得了显著成绩,然而也存在一些不足之处。如何将阳江的海洋资源优势转化为经济优势、科学合理开发利用海洋资源、实现可持续发展,是阳江市建设“海洋强市”、发展海洋经济的关键。 Yangjiang City is located in the southwestern coast of Guangdong Province, is a coastal city, the ocean is the lifeline of Yangjiang social and economic development. Yangjiang advantage in the sea, development potential is also in the sea. In recent ten years, Yangjiang City has made remarkable achievements in the development and utilization of marine resources, however, there are still some shortcomings. How to transform the advantages of Yangjiang’s marine resources into economic advantages and to exploit and utilize marine resources scientifically and reasonably so as to achieve sustainable development are the keys to building a “strong ocean city” in Yangjiang City and developing its marine economy.
