新世纪前夜的艺术现状并不令人满意,它们享有殊荣的时代不复存在,虽然人们不免沉缅于对往昔的追怀,但是冷峻的现实已在提醒人们,这是一个“解构”的时代。转型的历史阶段,“拆解”作为一种逻辑现象,有其合理性;在当下,“拆解”的意义甚至大于继承、延伸与发展。不过,在实践的意义上,过分地强调解构显得有些偏颇,只有解构和创建同步进行,才能使得它的意义获得重新充实。
The artistic status quo on the eve of the new century is not satisfactory. The era in which they enjoy the privilege ceases to exist. Although people can not help but cherish the memory of the past, the grim reality has remind people that this is an era of deconstruction. At the historical stage of transition, “dismantling” as a logical phenomenon has its rationality; in the present moment, the meaning of “dismantling” is even greater than that of inheritance, extension and development. However, in practice, it is biased to emphasize too much on deconstruction. Only when deconstruction and creation go hand in hand can its significance be refocused.
