Lattice Semiconductor announced the first of its ispMACH4000 superfast (SuperFAST) family of devices on December 3, 2001, the 256 ispMACH4256 devices with 256 macrocells and the ispMACH4512 device with 512 macrocells. Both devices have versions that support 2.5V and 1.8V volts, belonging to the isoMACH4000B and ispMACH4000C families respectively. The ispMACH4000C is the industry’s first family of 1.8V in-system programmable (ISP) programmable logic devices that continues Lattice’s tradition of being the first to introduce new low-voltage devices to the market.
