Hildebrandt 等对植物生长控制剂与肿瘤关系进行过研究;高怡生等曾报告过一系列氯霉素和具有强烈生物作用的化合物为载体的植物生长控制剂衍生物的抗肿瘤作用.作者也曾报道过以氯霉素同型物为载体的植物生长控制剂的抗肿瘤活性;个别有一定的抑制作用。对-氨基苯甲酸是叶酸的组成部分,而叶酸是细胞生长过程中必需的物质,肿瘤细胞生长得越快,则越需要对一氨基苯甲酸。因此选用对-氨基苯甲酸乙酯为载体,又合成了五个植物生长控制剂的衍生物(β-萘氧乙酸,α-萘乙酸,2,4-二氯苯氧乙酸,2,3,5-三碘苯甲酸和2,3,5-三氯苯甲酸的衍生物),即Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ,Ⅳ和Ⅴ:

Therefore, we chose p-aminobenzoate as carrier and synthesized five derivatives of plant growth regulators (β-naphthyloxyacetic acid, α-naphthalene acetic acid, 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid, 2,3- Triiodobenzoic acid and derivatives of 2,3,5-trichlorobenzoic acid), i.e., I, II, III, IV and V:
