四十五集电视连续剧《乔家大院》的播出掀起了一股热潮。或者不如说是一个潮流的高峰,就是中国当下对于晋商的关注热潮。不仅晋商题材的影视作品相继推出,关于晋商历史文化方面的研究也渐成风气。可以说根据著名作家成一的同名小说改编的电视剧《白银谷》形成了这股热潮的第一波,电视剧《龙票》、《昌晋源票号》等推动了这一潮流,而《乔家大院》则形成了第一个高峰。剧中主人公乔致庸的坎坷经历让久已疏远历史记载的人们重新获得对晋商的认识。也正是通过这位有些放旷不羁的商业巨子的活动轨迹展现了当年晋商的兴衰成败。而透过他们的成败兴衰也可以重温华夏商业文明精神,从而获得一些现实启示。
