中国的哲学之源《易经》一书,很大篇幅揭示了要注重事物一些微小的变化,因为看似精微之事,往往会带来不可预测的事情发生。《易经》里的坤卦的第一爻讲到,履霜结果就导致坚冰的到来,告诫人们要防微杜渐和知几察微,在《易经》六十四卦里,有十几卦在讲因为没有注意一个事物的微小变化,而导致悔亡结果的哲理,中国古语“千里之堤,毁于蚁穴”也是这个道理。
