课堂提问是课堂教学活动的重要组成部分,是师生进行课堂互动的一种必要形式,恰到好处的课堂提问能最大限度地发挥出师生的双边作用,及时把握好课堂教学的过程,切实保证课堂教学的效果。但纵观当前的初中英语课堂,提问的现状不容乐观,提问的价值未予彰显,提问的随意性、肤浅性、应付性现象普遍存在,这样不仅没有能够促进学生的语言学习和思维发展,而且忽视甚至忘却了学生的心理需求和情感因素,扼杀了学生学习英语的热情。笔者认为:提问,是英语课堂中不容忽视的一门艺术,我们必须立足新视角,运用新方式去进行课堂提问,科学合理地把握好四个关键词,从而使得课堂提问真正发挥好自身的导学、助学和促学价值。
