20世纪80年代初引文分析方法引入我国以来,不少作者利用这一方法,对我国的综合科学以及数学、物理、化学、生物、医学、农业、建筑、地质、地理、图书馆学、情报学等10多个学科的期刊引文作了统计分析,发表论文约20多篇。这些分析的结果均与巴尔顿(Burton,R·E)、凯普勒(Kebler,R·W)1960年的统计分析结果基本吻合,即随着引文年代由近及远,其引文数量起初逐年增大,达到最大值,然后按近似负指数规律逐年衰减,反映出文献老化现象;并且,据此计算出的各学科文献老化的半衰期的大小序列,也与他们测定的结果相
