信号转导通路异常在肿瘤发生、发展过程中发挥着作用,其中Wnt/β-catenin信号转导通路在调控细胞的生长和分化、胚胎发育和肿瘤的发生发展起重要作用。Wnt/β-catenin信号转导通路异常主要表现为β连环蛋白(β-catenin)的异常积聚以及其下游靶基因的激活,从而影响细胞周期、细胞凋亡和细胞增殖,使细胞凋亡受阻、过度增殖,导致肿瘤的发生。Wnt/β-catenin信号转导通路的异常与鼻咽癌的发病机制密切相关。
