随着办公自动化的进展,从中央到地方不少机关晋遍应用传真机,远距离传递文件信息,因而产生了大量的的传真件,如明传电报。我们发现所有传真件在传阅承办过程中,其纸张就越来越黑,字迹变得模糊不清。因此,了解与研究传真机用纸的耐久性及归档的对策,是目前应当解决的问题。传真用纸又称热敏纸,或称感热记录纸、化学纸。从外表看,它跟一般办公用纸相同,白色、光滑。但它却是由两层不同物质构成的,上层为数微米厚的白色感热生色层;底层为基层纸。感热生色层又由隐色体、特殊生色剂和粘合剂组成。粘合剂将隐色体和带有发色基因的生色剂均匀地分布于感热生色层。在没有热源时,彼此不发生作用。当感热生色层一旦受到一定的热量,生色剂迅速溶化,溶进隐色体中与之发生化学反应,使隐色体即刻显现出黑颜色来。传真机就是依据这一特性,根据接收到的不同电信号,控制感热磁头放热或不放热,放热时使纸的感热生色层发生变化,不放热时纸的感热生色层不发生变化,从而纸上形成黑白分明的图象、文字。因此,热敏性质是传真机用纸的显著特征。它的这一性质对传真件的耐久性发生了重要影响。首先,它对温度敏感决定其耐久性差。例如,用指甲在传真纸表面迅速划过,摩擦产生的热会在纸面上留下明显的黑色划痕。第二,它对环境敏感决定其不能持久保存。据了解,有关部门规定,保存传真件的适宜温度为5℃。生产纸的厂家规定,在13℃的环境中,传真纸的有效期为一年。也有的厂家规定,在室温的条件下,其有效期不得超过一年,所形成的传真件保存期为一年。第三,它对光敏感使其难以长久存放。一是由于
