女性艺术家这个看似特殊而又普通的群体是现代女性的代表。她们从自己最为熟悉的家庭生活入手,把自己对生活的感悟用画笔表现出来,用画面中的女性角色向社会大众传达出要关注家庭和社会中女性的角色与境遇,重新定义了女性的身体和身份。文章从女性主义行为艺术入手,对小野洋子、玛丽娜·阿布拉莫维奇、安德里安·玛格丽特·斯密斯·派普在艺术表达中自主呈现身体的艺术作品进行剖析,进而研究这些女性行为艺术家独特大胆的思维创意和艺术造诣,以及女性艺术在该领域从弱势到自我意识的不断增加,最后分析了女性主义在当代艺术中的重要作用。
