Improving institutional mechanisms is an important guarantee for improving the scientific, accurate and authoritative statistics. Scientific and reasonable statistical division of labor is the core of statistical work mechanism. According to the requirements of the scientific concept of development, in accordance with the spirit of the 17th National Congress of the CPC, we should seize the favorable opportunity of the reform of the administrative system, carefully study the division of work in statistics, and work out work that is both in line with China’s national conditions and in conformity with the law of statistical work and international statistical practice.
