Pd supported metallic monolith catalyst (0.5 g Pd·L-1) was prepared by directly coating slurries containing active Pd component on the metal substrate pretreated. This catalyst was characterized by SEM in conjunction with EDX. The activity of CO and C3H8 oxidation was tested by simulation gas. SEM and EDX termination shows that the coatings and corresponding elements are dispersed homogeneously on the metal substrate. The CO and C3H8 light-off temperatures (T50) over this fresh catalyst are about 110 and 137 ℃. The corresponding 90% conversion temperatures (T90) are 119 and 190 ℃, respectively. T50 of CO and C3H8 oxidation over aged catalyst are 195 and 348 ℃, at the same time CO oxidation T90 is around 207 ℃, whereas C3H8 oxidation T90 exceeds 650 ℃. This catalyst exhibits a good CO low-temperature oxidation and durability, and favors also C3H8 oxidation at low temperature.
