副刊是我国报纸的传统特色,是报纸的一个有机组成部分。我国报纸的副刊起于清末,最初称副张或附张,大都刊登“清闲”文字。五四运动前后,出现过一些提倡新文学,传播新思想的副刊。新民主主义革命时期,我党在解放区创办的报纸,也大都有副刊,刊登一些革命故事,墙头诗以及群众文艺创作等作品,对宣传群众、动员群众,夺取革命战争的胜利,起到积极的推动作用。副刊的任务同整个报纸担负的任务是一致的。绝不可能设想副刊可以离开整个报纸的宣传任务,来单独规定自己的任
