李安是一位擅长将文学作品改编为一流电影的奇才,除了“家庭三部曲”外,李安电影的脚本基本上都来自于小说。李安在将文本影像化的过程中能够游刃有余,最终实现跨文化、跨艺术形式的和谐,以及艺术与市场上的双重成功,并达成读者与观众间最大限度的共识。这是与李安遴选故事范本以及改编故事的特殊策略分不开的。文章从群像式叙事的保留、互文式内核的再现、新加情节与技术试验三方面,分析《比利·林恩的中场战事》的改编策略。
Ang Lee is a genius who specializes in the adaptation of literary works to first-class movies. Apart from the “Trilogy of the Family,” Ang Lee’s films are basically based on novels. Ang Lee was able to navigate through the process of visualizing the text, eventually achieving cross-cultural and cross-art harmony as well as dual successes in the arts and markets and reaching a maximum consensus between readers and audience. This is inseparable from the special strategy of the selection of the story of Ang Lee and the adaptation of the story. The article analyzes the adaptation strategy of “Billy Lynn’s midfielder war” from three aspects: the reservation of group narrative, the reproduction of intertextual kernel, the new episode and the technical experiment.
