本文探讨议论文语篇结构对中国学生虚拟语气标记使用的影响。研究的语料是40篇英语专业二年级学生的作文。结果发现学习者对虚拟语气标记的使用受英语议论文语篇结构的影响:前景化层次越高,恰当标记的使用比例也越高。分析认为虚拟语气标记在英语议论文中的使用特征与学习者语言表达过程中对虚拟意义的感知程度有关。
This article explores the impact of argumentative discourse structure on the use of Chinese students’ subjunctive mood markers. The study’s corpus is composed of 40 English sophomores. The results show that learners’ use of subjunctive markers is influenced by the discourse structure of English argumentative papers: the higher the foregrounding level, the higher the proportion of appropriate markers. It is analyzed that the characteristics of the use of subjunctive markers in English argumentative essay are related to how they perceive the virtual meaning in the learner’s language expression.
