Objective: To investigate the emergency and perioperative nursing value of Chinese and Western medicine in patients with ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm. Methods: Emergency patients with ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm in our hospital were collected and randomly divided into study group (receiving perioperative Chinese and Western medicine care) and control group (receiving perioperative western medicine care). The postoperative hospital stay, postoperative complications and in-hospital mortality were compared between the two groups. Results: The postoperative hospital stay was significantly shorter in the study group than in the control group (P <0.05). There was significant difference in postoperative complications between the two groups (P <0.05). The in-hospital mortality was significantly lower in the study group than in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The active and effective first aid and perioperative Chinese and Western medicine can improve the prognosis of patients with ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm and reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
