采用 t 检验统计方法,量化研究 Nature 杂志2006年、1985年两个年份论文中主动句与被动句、简单句与复合句两大语言特征上存在的数量比例,旨在为科技语言研究提供一些基本统计数据,为拟在 Nature 及国际英语科技期刊上发表论文的作者在语态和句子类型方面提供一些参考。研究发现:2006年 Nature 论文在语态方面,主动句占61.37%,被动句占38.63%;在句子类型方面,简单句占50.91%,一个从句的复合句占36.16%,二个、三个和多个从句的复合句分别占10.05%、2.14%和0.74%。统计学 t 检验证明,2006、1985年两个时期论文中各类句子组间均无显著差异,并预测,今后20~30年间,至少在最近一个相当长的时期,Nature 杂志论文中各类句子的比例仍将保持在目前的比例水平上。
Using the t-test statistical method to quantitatively study the quantitative ratio of the active and passive sentences, simple sentences and complex sentences in Nature’s two papers in 2006 and 1985, this paper aims to provide some basic information for the study of S & T language Statistics, which provide some references to the morphology and sentence types of authors who intend to publish papers in Nature and International English scientific journals. The study found that in the aspect of voice, Nature’s sentences accounted for 61.37% of the active papers and 38.63% of the passive sentences in Nature’s essay in 2006. In the sentence types, simple sentences accounted for 50.91%, compound sentences of one clause accounted for 36.16%, two, three and Compound clauses for multiple clauses accounted for 10.05%, 2.14% and 0.74%, respectively. Statistics t test showed that there was no significant difference between the various sentence groups in the two periods of 2006 and 1985, and predicted that in the next 20 to 30 years, at least for a fairly recent period, all kinds of sentences The proportion will remain at the current level of proportion.
