2008年初的冰雪灾害发生后,国家电网公司直属科研院所中唯一一家以输电线路力学性能研究为主攻方向的研究机构——国网北京电力建设研究院,立即组织专家赶赴现场,对冰害的形成原因,受损线路的修复措施,灾难性天气的预警机制以及铁塔设计标准的改进等方面进行深入研究,并与国外在处理冰灾过程中的一些措施进行了比照,形成了《极端冰害条件下的大电网安全》一文。本刊特刊发此文,以利于读者用科学、专业的眼光认识和解读冰雪灾害给电网带来的危害,并对电网灾后恢复重建以及防冰减灾科技攻关工作,有客观的理解和认识。
