约翰·科里亚诺(John Corigliano)是当今世界上的一位非常独特和广受赞誉的美国作曲家,也是最重要的交响乐作曲家之一。他所创作的作品体裁非常广泛,并且他也是美国各大交响乐团作品上演率极高的当代作曲家之一。在他的作品中,极具个人色彩的独特音乐语言形成了一种有别于欧洲传统交响乐的“美国式”风格。本文选择了科里亚诺在2004年创作完成的《第三交响曲“大竞技场”》(Symphony No.3Circus Maximus)作为研究对象,希望通过对此作品的乐队的编制与布局、音乐表演形式以及多维声向的运用等方面进行研究,探求作曲家的美学观念、作品的创作理念、特点及价值。
John Corigliano is a very unique and acclaimed American composer and one of the most important symphony composers in the world today. He has created a wide variety of genres, and he is also one of the most contemporary composers in the major symphony orchestras in the United States. In his works, a very personal and unique musical language forms an “American style” that is different from the traditional European symphony. This paper chooses the “Symphony No.3Circus Maximus” Symphony No.3Circus Maximus which was created by Coriano in 2004.It is hoped that through the compilation and layout of the band of this work, the music Performance forms and the use of multi-dimensional sound and other aspects of research to explore the composer’s aesthetic ideas, works of creative ideas, characteristics and value.
