德国学者在上世纪70年代提出了功能翻译理论,开辟了一个新的翻译研究视角。它认为翻译这种行为,应具有一定目的并决定整个翻译过程,翻译策略的采用应在预期的翻译目的的指导下进行,这一理念对广告翻译有显著意义。本文以功能翻译理论为指导,浅析其在汉英广告翻译中的应用。
German scholars proposed the theory of functional translation in the 1970s, opening up a new perspective of translation studies. It believes that this act of translation should have a certain purpose and determine the entire process of translation, the use of translation strategies should be guided by the intended purpose of the translation, the concept of advertising translation is significant. Guided by functional translation theory, this article analyzes its application in Chinese-English advertisement translation.
