In our country, the subject attribute and definition of foreign language teaching has been regarded as the category of linguistics and applied linguistics, and the benchmark for evaluating the results of foreign language teaching is also based on the theories of these two disciplines. Many of the teachers in the forefront of foreign language teaching do not get the approval of linguistics and theorists who are confused and distressed in the two major aspects of teaching and learning.
