苗木规格标准化是很复杂的,必须首先确定标准株,以标准株的苗高、地径进行综合处理,计算出综合值,作为苗木分级和出苗量计算的依据,才能达到苗木规范标准化的目的。这对提高育苗水平和造林质量,加速林木速生丰产,都具有重大意义。杉木是我省造林的重要用材树种,本文着重对杉苗规格标准化的规范方法进行试探。一、苗木的取样方法在杉苗基本停止生长季节,选择部份县和本所中等以上水平的杉苗进行样方调查,样方为1平方米或0.25平方米的正方形。一平方米样方取对角线二重抽样。取样数目按下列公式计算:
