荀子的气论思想是在综合了儒道哲学的基础上形成的。他认为“气”可以划分为自然意义上的阴阳之气和人身意义上的血气,并且血气是阴阳之气坐落于人身上的存在形态。根据这种认识,荀子的气论思想展开为两个逻辑序列:“自然界之气(阴阳之气)-万物-人身之气(血气)”的自然生成序列和“血气-形体和心神-人性”的人身内在序列,并且在后一序列的基础上确立了“人性恶”的论断和与之相关的修身理论。
Xunzi’s theory of Qi theory is formed on the basis of integrating Confucianism and Taoism. He believes that “Qi ” can be divided into the natural sense of yin and yang and personal blood gas, and blood gas is the presence of yin and yang of the human form. According to this understanding, Xunzi’s theory of Qi started with two logical sequences: “natural gas (the yin and yang gas) - all things - the natural generation sequence of personal gas (blood gas)” and “blood and gas - body and mind - human nature ”in the person’s internal sequence, and in the latter sequence based on the establishment of the“ human nature ”theory and related to the self-cultivation theory.
