The tectonic evolution of the Sailimu-Borobolo region has experienced the processes of the Early Proterozoic anterior-geosyncline, the Mesoproterozoic to Paleozoic geosyncline, the Triassic-Jurassic platform stage and the Cretaceous to Cenozoic depression stage. This area underwent secondary orogeny. The Inikala movement at the end of the Late Carboniferous caused the uplift folds into mountains in the region, forming the first generation of mountains in this area. The Quaternary strong block movement caused the second generation seen in the area today Mountains - Diwa fault fold mountains and rift lakes - Sailimu Lake. From north to south can be divided into 10 levels of tectonic units. Mesoproterozoic hydrothermal sediments, Devonian magmatic intrusions and volcanic eruptions, and Carboniferous volcanism are the main metallogenic thermal events in this area
