Someone may not believe it. When I was in elementary school, I started to read the Selected Works of Mao Tse-tung. At that time, extra-curricular readings that could be found were too few, while “Mao Selected Works” actually had a set of books for every household. Mao Zedong’s work can appeal deeply to a pupil who is in a thriving curiosity because of his own profound and easy-to-understand charm. What impresses me most is the Report on the Investigation of Hunan Peasant Movement. The author described the brand-new scene in the surging countryside of the peasant movement with a vivid and enthusiastic writing. At that time, I thought it was just as wonderful as reading a novel. . If people nowadays write their investigation reports like Mao Tse-tung, I am afraid they are likely to be “shot dead” because of their “irregularities and lack of rules.” Now we often come across some reports and other texts, norms are there, the rules are there, but often lose their anger, no personality, rigid form, language withered, not to say primary school students will never touch, Is a professional writer to read it will inevitably taste the same feeling.
