Objective: To evaluate the diagnostic value of color Doppler ultrasonography in the diagnosis of diabetic lower extremity vascular lesions (LEAD). Methods: 100 cases of DM patients and 96 cases of healthy volunteers at the same time lower extremity vascular color Doppler ultrasound examination control. Results: In the 100 patients with diabetes mellitus, 96 cases of lower extremity arteries were found to have atherosclerotic changes with a detection rate of 94.3%. Diabetic group’s vascular diameter was significantly lower than the control group; blood flow was also reduced compared with the control group. Conclusion: Color Doppler ultrasonography is an effective method for the examination of lower extremity vascular lesions in patients with DM, which has important clinical value for early diagnosis, prevention and treatment.
