作为人类活动的传承方式之一,工业设计有着悠久的历史渊源,但作为一门独立学科,在20世纪20年代才开始确立,其中工业设计史作为学科理论基础在过去二三十年里才被重视。如今,工业设计史课程已成为工业设计专业基础理论必修课程,但更多地被当作历史综述性的教学工具,教学中也因不能给学生的设计实践提供具体指导而遭到学生的诟病。关于工业设计史课程如何走向实践的问题,我们的认识尚停留在自明性阶段,从而使课程形成理论知识实践化的现状。为了解决这一问题,我们需要重新定位工业设计史课程理论知识与实践的关系,并在教学中侧重分析设计实践的特殊性,从而培养学生对设计的理解和批评能力。
As an inheritance way of human activities, industrial design has a long history, but as an independent discipline, it began to be established in the 1920s. The history of industrial design, as the theoretical basis of the discipline, was only used in the past two or three decades Pay attention. Today, the course of industrial design history has become a compulsory course in the basic theory of industrial design, but it is more used as a historical teaching tool, which is criticized by students because it can not provide concrete guidance to students’ design practice. With regard to how the industrial design history course goes into practice, our understanding is still in the self-evident stage, so that the curriculum can become the status quo in which the theoretical knowledge is practiced. In order to solve this problem, we need to reposition the relationship between the theoretical knowledge and practice of industrial design history course, and focus on the analysis of the particularity of design practice in teaching so as to cultivate the students’ understanding and criticism of design.
