平泉县是1989年被农业部确定的杂交玉米种子生产基地,年制种面积5万亩左右,产种2000万公斤上下,承担着全国五大玉米产区300多个地县用户每年用种生产任务。无霜期90~140天,年≥10℃有效积温2300~3400℃,年平均降雨量540毫米(80%集中在作物生长季节)。全县71.3万亩耕地分布在海拔335~1000米的21个大川156条长沟内。充足的光照,较大的日温差,交错的山岭,纵横的沟川所形成的独特自然隔离条件,非常适合杂交玉米制种。我们依据当地生产资源、气象条件,以光能、热能和植物生理机能的理论为指导,在不同无霜期、不同地力条件的生产基地,分别不同组合进行多次试验研
