芯棒预热炉原加热方式为炉外设置燃烧室,燃料为天然气,燃烧后的高温烟气被风机提供的常温空气冷却后,低温烟气用于加热芯棒。为节省天然气燃料,提高芯棒炉燃烧系统性能,同时余热再利用,对芯棒炉加热循环系统进行改造,将环形炉烟气部分引入芯棒炉用于芯棒加热,对烟气引入系统、烟气循环系统进行了改造并建立了全新的自动控制系统、工艺过程,同时对改造后芯棒炉运行的性能指标和带来的经济效益进行了分析比较。
