Siegler(1977)曾描述停用激素避孕药后眩晕消失。
Hormonal contraception has had some initial reports on the effects of balance and hearing, but until now there has been no report of the effects of long-term hormonal therapy on the hearing system in the absence of endocrine disorders. Janczewski et al. (1976) first reported the effects of 30 oral contraceptives on the inner ear function. Clinical and nystagmography were used to evaluate the vestibular function as a vascular lesion. Siegler (1977) described dizziness disappearing after steroid contraceptive use. Hashem (1977) reported 20 patients with contraceptives at varying times of rotation and hot and cold tests that showed an effect on the balance during treatment. Kley et al (1978) a group of 20-30-year-old reversible deafness patients, episodes of three to four times a few months, stop using the pill after the onset of seizures. Okulicz (1978) reported 4 cases of long-term contraceptives after unilateral or bilateral reversible deafness, aged 19 to 40 years of treatment from August to 10 years. A case of audiogram flat slope, the other oblique treble. Three cases of hearing loss decreased mainly vascular occlusion, a sudden decline was presumed to be lost arterial embolism.
