长江青草沙水库承担着上海市80%左右的原水供应,是上海水源的主力,具有蓄淡避咸功能。今年长江口水流量比往年大幅减少并且又受三峡水库提前蓄水的影响,长江口咸潮提前一个月侵袭申城,青草沙水库取水口的氯化物浓度超过了国标(250mg/L),因此水库已提前蓄高了库内水位备用,并从11月20日开始暂停取水。
