目前,不少单位在党员发展工作中都不同程度地存在一些不容忽视的问题。一是少数党支部在发展党员时求数量不求质量,看关系不看表现。致使党员发展出现了“四多四少”现象:勤杂公差人员多,战斗班排的人员少;家庭条件好、生活富裕的多,地处农村和贫困山区的少;阿谀奉承、所谓的“会办事”的多,安分守己的少;“关系”兵多,非“关系兵”少。二是少数同志把入党作为自己捞取政治资本、达到个人目的一种手段。笔者对某部15名党员就“你为什么要入党?”进行了问卷调查。6名农村籍的战士中
