近几年一部分中国花鸟画家不满足于现状动脑筋思考,想突破、创新,在寻找着各自的艺术道路。近几届全国美展每一届都有一批新的潜在力量,萌发着新的发展趋势,他们的作品是他们苦心经营,尽力表达自己对生活的真实感受的结果。强烈的表现欲望,驱使他们在取材、主题、艺术处理、笔墨结构、表现形式和利用现代工具材料等方面作出追求与探索,展示出中国花鸟画莫大的前途。 但是,创新不是否定传统,相反,必须具有扎实的传统笔墨功夫,对传统有一个高度的认识,这是前提。有些人学了几十年的传统功夫,也画了许多画,笔墨功夫很深,但遗憾的是操劳一生,重复别人一生,丝毫没有自己的创造,这类人很多,也使很多人对学习传统产生误解,认为学习传统束缚了人的创造性。80年代中期以年青人为主产的反传统潮流,搞得学校的学生不能安
In recent years, part of China’s flower and bird painters are not satisfied with the status quo, thinking of breakthroughs and innovations, looking for their own artistic ways. Recent sessions of the National Art Exhibition each have a number of new potential forces that have sprung up with new trends.
