Editing scholarship is fundamentally conducive to improving the quality of editors, which is also conducive to the quality of books and journals to improve a meaningful orientation. But for its actual operation, we must pay attention to the specific analysis of specific problems: First, editorial and scholarization is a conditional concept, not an absolute standard. It applies only to editors of scholarly academic journals or scholarly book publishing departments. It can not be generalized to the general requirements and principles that all editors must follow. With the progress and development of science and technology, disciplines are developing in a highly specialized direction. Not only in different disciplines, but also in the same disciplines also have specialized trends. In this case, editors must be systematical and cutting-edge level of knowledge in a subject field to be eligible to participate in the discrimination of the corresponding subject manuscripts to ensure the quality and academic standard of the journal. For academic books and periodicals, editing is not allowed as an academic layman.
