辽宁夹山金铜矿区物质组分和金的赋存状态研究结果表明,矿石的主要金属矿物有黄铁矿、黄铜矿、方铅矿、闪锌矿、银金矿、自然金等,这种典型矿物组合可作为寻找和评价金矿床的找矿矿物学标志。金矿物的形态以不规则状为主,且粒度细小;金的成色平均为744。金的赋存状态有明金、显微金(裂隙金、晶隙金和包体金)和超显微金,以显微金为主,裂隙金、晶隙金和包体金赋存于黄铁矿、黄铜矿等矿物中,金与黄铁矿关系密切,黄铁矿是金的主要载体矿物;含金黄铁矿可作为寻找和评价金矿床的找矿矿物学指示标志。
