今天上英语课,组织好课堂后,我出示句子,布置了口语训练任务。三分钟过去了,我启发学生们站起来进行对话训练,结果却没人站起来,我感到非常尴尬。究竟为什么,我在思考……这时,一个男同学站起来了,但他后面的合作伙伴却没站起来,在我正要说些鼓励的话时,前面的男同学又坐下了。我看着他们,微笑着对他们说:“别紧张,我们慢慢来。”终于他们又站起来了。
我说,“OK,please.”他们便开始对话。
Boy:Hello!How are you?
Girl:I’m OK, and you?
Boy:I’m fine too. What’s your favourite sport?
Girl:I like playing football.
Boy:Really? Football is boy’s hobby.
Girl:Yes,but I like it very much. What about you?
Boy:I like playing basketball and foo-tball.
Girl:Do you do exercise everyday?(每天锻炼身体吗?)
Boy:Yes,I run in the morning and play basketball in the afternoon.
Girl:Why do you do it?
Boy:Only for fun.
Girl:I think sports can develop mind and body.
Boy:Yes,you’re right. See you later!
Girl:See you!
他们一说完,我就笑着对那位女同学说:“I like playing basketball,but you like foot-ball.Maybe girls don’t like football and basketball.Do you think so?”那位同学说:“Yes,but I like football very much,and I have few girl classmates play with me.”我接着说:“When I’m a student in No.1 Middle school,my good friend—Liu Qiaoying, who is a member of Basketball Team. Always she and me play basketball with our boy class-mates.”
我边笑边说,偶尔重复一下,偶尔翻译个句子,他们静静地听,点头。我说:“你们潜力很大,爱因斯坦脑细胞用了不到1/10。你们要充分挖掘你们的宝藏。”
他们看着我,渐渐地放松了,有了自信,后来开始学习课文,“English around the world”先复习第一个内容,我问谁来读,有七八个同学举手,其中三四个男同学以前从来都默不作声,直到叫名字才回答问题,我很吃惊,脸上表情渐渐绽放:“OK. Good please!”我伸手示意,一位男同学站起来,他读得很认真,有时对一些单词不太有把握,我会给予帮助,读完后,哗、哗、哗——一阵热烈的掌声,没等我表扬,同学们已给予了他最好的礼物。我还未反应过来,同学们喊到“老师,鼓掌。”我犹如从梦中醒来赶忙说:“You do well. Thank you.”并给予热烈的掌声。
接着另一位同学读第三段,也很好,其实上次上课时这段没学过,只是听了一遍录音,她就读得这么好,可惜啊,肯定预习了。我微笑点头示意她坐下,然后和全班同学共同给予她热烈的掌声,我说:“你读音正确,音色优美”。
然后讲到mother tongue(母语)这个词组时,我说:“What is mother tongue?”我顺手将这句话写到黑板上。“Chinese”他们大声回答。我说:“I like Chinese very much, do you like it?”“Yes, we like it very much.”他们异口同声地说。“Why?”我又问,“汉语是我们的母语,她非常的美。”
“汉语好学”“汉语……”同学们七嘴八舌地回答。他们的表情里满是喜悦和热情,可以看出他们学英语,但更爱汉语。我看着他们,内心感到激动,连几个爱做小动作的同学也在认真地听着、说着。
