数学是一门应用性极强的学科,若只注重理论的学习,将难以为社会发展培养出有实践能力和创新精神的高素质人才,高职院校的数学课程应该在提供理论知识教学的同时注重培养学生的数学思维与解题能力,只有这样,数学学科才能发挥出应有的功效,不断取得发展与突破。高职院校若想真正提高学生的数学能力,使其能够利用所学知识解决生活中的实际问题,就需要充分调动学生对数学学习的兴趣,而数学实验课可以有效激发学生的学习兴趣。研究数学实验课对未来培养高职学生数学应用能力有着深远的现实意义,对数学学科发展有重大作用。
