《论语》等儒家元典中的“忠恕之道”再生产着“君本位等级制”。如果“忠”侧重“尽己事上”而“明明德”的“真理性”要求 ,那么 ,“恕”则侧重“推己接下”而“得众使民”的“权力性”要求。这是“第一轴心时代”造就的政治伦理通则 ,古今中外 ,概莫能外。所谓“己所不欲 ,勿施于人” ,几千年来 ,最能知“己”而自居“己”的儒士或知识分子 ,大都在“大义”上极尽至善解释之能事 ,以为自己在做着“成人仁 ,助教化”的大业 ,庶不知乃是“为尊者讳
