桂平市在发展乡镇企业积极实施“科技兴企,规模发展”的战略,大力发展高新技术产业,不断推进行业规模的形成,使全市乡镇企业在大灾之年,仍然保持持续高速发展。去年,全市乡镇企业总收达54.3亿多元,实现税利2.7亿元,分别比1993年增长70.5％和42.1％。今年1月份的总收入、税利又分别比去年同期增长51.4％和78.6％。
