Comparison of the changes of platelet-loop nucleotide content in patients with early-stage and stroke-induced radiation injury showed that both of them had the decrease of cAMP content and the increase of cGMP content, the difference was that the former was obviously changed by cGMP, prominent. This change in cyclic nucleotide content can cause platelet aggregation within the blood vessels, contributing to the occurrence of hypercoagulable state of the blood. After effective treatment, the above changes were reversed.
