西洋参茎叶皂甙（ＰＱＳ）对Ａｃｈ或高Ｋ＋去极化后Ｃａ２＋所致兔离体回肠收缩均产生剂量依赖性抑制作用，并对ＣａＣｌ２量效曲线呈非竞争性拮抗，对Ａｃｈ所致的回肠依细胞内及细胞外钙收缩均有明显抑制作用，提示ＰＱＳ具钙拮抗作用，其作用方式与维拉帕米不完全相同
PQS inhibited the ileum contraction induced by Ca2 + in Ach or high K + depolarized in a dose-dependent manner and showed a noncompetitive antagonistic effect on the CaCl2 dose-response curve.
