三峡工程捷报频传,97年的大江截流即在眉睫,淹没区沿线文物古迹的保护刻不容缓。这些文物古迹中古民居是极有地域代表意义的文化遗产的一部分。特别是以新滩古镇、大昌古城、西沱“云梯街”为代表的民居建筑群更是峡区人文景观与自然景观共生的最好实例。对如此丰厚的文化遗产,虽各方面都给予了极大的关心与注目,如长江水利建设委员会就曾为了三斗坪“杨家湾老屋”的保留,调整了原规划道路,使其不必易地搬迁,保留了文物建筑原有的环境特色。但仍令文物保护工作者优心的是,淹没区内文物保护工作目前还未全面进入实施阶段。之所以会如此,个中因素多
