受国家科委腐蚀科学学科组的委托,由北京钢铁学院会同中国腐蚀学会组织的金属腐蚀与腐蚀控制学习班,最近在北戴河举行。来自石油、化工、纺织、轻工、冶金、一机、二机和五机部等八个部门有关设计研究单位和重点厂矿企业的总工程师,参加了学习。金属的腐蚀与腐蚀控制,是一门新兴的综合性边缘学科。它牵涉到冶金、化学(化工)、物理、力学、医学、生物、机械和土木建筑等诸方面。世界各国因金属腐蚀所造成的经济损失、资源和能源的浪费、自然环境的污染和伤亡事故等,都是十分巨大和惊人的。1949年美国在这方面的直接损失达55亿美元,
Under the commission of the Corruption Science Division of the State Science and Technology Commission, the Metal Corrosion and Corrosion Control Workshop organized by the Beijing Iron and Steel Institute and the China Corrosion Society was recently held in Beidaihe. The chief engineers from design and research units and key factories and mines in the eight departments of the petroleum, chemical, textile, light industry, metallurgy, first-machine, second-engine, and five-machine departments participated in the study. Corrosion and corrosion control of metals is an emerging comprehensive edge discipline. It involves metallurgical, chemical (chemical), physics, mechanics, medicine, biology, machinery and civil engineering. The economic losses caused by metal corrosion, the waste of resources and energy, the pollution of the natural environment, and casualty accidents are all very large and striking. In 1949, the U.S. direct loss in this area amounted to 5.5 billion U.S. dollars.
