马克·加穆萨(Mark Gamsa)是前苏联拉脱维亚加盟共和国里加市居民,1970年出生,九岁随家人移居到以色列。他在耶路撒冷的希伯来大学开始学习汉语,毕业以后又在巴黎学汉语一年,后来获得了奖学金—在安徽师范大学研修过一年汉语和中国文化。但是,1996年他第一次到中国,是来北京参加国际象棋比赛(他原来是个棋手!)。在中国留学一年之后,他回到希伯来大学撰写硕士学位论
Mark Gamsa, a resident of Riga in the former Soviet republic of Latvia, was born in 1970 and immigrated to Israel at age 9 with his family. He started to study Chinese at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. After graduating, he studied Chinese for a year in Paris and later won a scholarship - he spent a year studying Chinese and Chinese culture at Anhui Normal University. However, in 1996, when he first came to China, he came to Beijing to attend chess tournaments (he used to be a chess player!). A year after studying in China, he returned to Hebrew University to write a master’s degree
