当今,在我国各族人民中已形成了一些新的(就其内容而言,很大一部分是就其形式而言)家庭日常生活的、劳动工作的、社会政治生活的及其他的礼仪。这些新礼仪从产生的那天起就对缩小宗教势力范围、培养苏联人们的社会主义道德风尚、巩固人与人之间的社会主义关系起了促进作用。现代非宗教礼仪早就形成了民族学研究的课题。学者们把注意力集中在研究新礼仪的形式上,力图揭示新礼仪的普及程度;对新礼仪的产生过程起促进作用,或者相反,起阻碍作用的社会-民族因素;这一过程的历史基础和进程;以及至今还保留着的传统礼仪的残余现
