Objective: To investigate the effect of gold alloy and Ni-Cr porcelain restoration on periodontal tissue. Methods: Eighty cases of anterior teeth defect from May 2011 to May 2012 in our hospital were divided into gold alloy group and nickel-chromium alloy group according to the different material of the restoration inner crown. The changes of aspartate aminotransferase (AST), IL-8 level, gingival crevicular fluid (GCF) and alkaline phosphatase (ALP). Results: One week after the repair, the two kinds of porcelain enamel in gingival crevicular fluid volume, IL-8 total volume compared with before repair, with statistical significance; 3,6 months after repair, the gold alloy group of the above indicators decreased significantly , And gradually returned to the pre-repair level at 6 months. However, the above indexes of Ni-Cr alloy group were statistically significant at 6 months of repair compared with those before repair, and at the 3 and 6-month restoration of gold alloy group, Significantly lower than the nickel-chromium alloy group; in the IL-8 content, the two kinds of alloy porcelain only at 3 months after repair was statistically significant, 6 months repair, the two kinds of metal porcelain were restored to the pre-repair level; At 6 months after repair, the levels of AST and ALP in the nickel-chromium alloy group were significantly different from those before the repair, while the levels of AST in the gold alloy group were also significantly higher than those before the repair at 6 months of repair. At 6 months after repair, , Gold alloy group and healthy teeth difference is not big. Conclusion: The gold alloy is less irritating to the gums and is an ideal material for porcelain crowns.
