Objective: To investigate the relationship between angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) gene polymorphism and vascular endothelial function in patients with coronary heart disease. Methods: ACE genotype, plasma endothelin (ET) and endothelium-derived relaxing factor (EDRF / NO) in 24 patients with myocardial infarction, 56 patients with angina pectoris and 65 normal controls were analyzed by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) The test to ET / NO as endothelial function indicators. Results: The frequency of D allele in myocardial infarction group was significantly higher than that in normal control group. The ET / NO ratio in DD patients was significantly higher than that in normal controls (P <0.05). Conclusion: In patients with DD myocardial infarction, endothelial dysfunction is serious, and it is also one of the possible mechanisms of DD-prone myocardial infarction. However, further study is needed
