通过消减杂交法从人黑色素瘤细胞中分离出来的黑色素瘤分化相关基因(melonoma differentiation associated gene 7,MDA-7),因其分子生物学特性与IL-10相似,故将其归入IL-10家族,并重新命名为IL-24。IL-24能选择性地促进肿瘤细胞凋亡、抑制肿瘤新生血管形成、增强放疗敏感性和免疫调节作用,而对正常细胞和组织无毒副作用。作为一种具有多种抗肿瘤功能的细胞因子,IL-24将成为肿瘤基因治疗的新武器。全文主要对IL-24抗肿瘤作用机制及在肿瘤治疗中的作用作一综述。
Melonoma differentiation associated gene 7 (MDA-7) was isolated from human melanoma cells by subtractive hybridization. Because of its molecular biological characteristics similar to IL-10, it was classified as IL-10 Family, and rename it IL-24. IL-24 selectively promotes tumor cell apoptosis, inhibits tumor angiogenesis, enhances radiosensitivity and immunomodulatory effects, and has no toxic or side effects on normal cells and tissues. As a cytokine with multiple antitumor functions, IL-24 will become a new weapon for gene therapy of tumors. The article mainly summarizes the anti-tumor mechanism of IL-24 and its role in tumor therapy.
