|常沙娜|女,满族。浙江杭州人。著名艺术设计教育家和艺术设计家、清华大学美术学院教授。1931年生于法国里昂。1937年随父母回国。1945年至1948年在甘肃敦煌随其父常书鸿先生学习、临摹敦煌壁画。1948年赴美国波士顿艺术博物馆美术学院学习。1950年回国后曾先后在清华大学营建系、中央美术学院实用美术系、中央工艺美术学院染织美术系任教。1983年至1998年任中央工艺美术学院院长、院学术委员会主任。50年代始,先后参加中国共青年团团徽设计和人民大会堂宴会厅、民族文化宫、首都剧场、首都机场、燕京饭店、中国大饭店等重点工程的建筑装饰设计,并参与首都国庆三十五周年庆典活动的总体设计顾问和组织工作。1997年主持并参加设计了赠香港特区政府的纪念物“永远盛开的紫荆花”雕塑。曾当选中国共产党第十二次、第十三次全国代表大会代表;第七、八、九届全国人大会代表,第九届全国人大常务委员会委员,中国美术家协会副主席等职。
Often Shana | female, Manchu. Hangzhou, Zhejiang. Famous art design educator and art designer, Tsinghua University Academy of Fine Arts professor. Born in Lyon, France in 1931. In 1937 with his parents back home. From 1945 to 1948 in Dunhuang, Gansu, accompanied by his father, Mr. Hung, copy Dunhuang murals. 1948 to the United States Museum of Fine Arts, Boston Museum of Art study. After returning to China in 1950, he successively worked in Department of Construction and Civil Engineering, Tsinghua University, Practical Art Department of the Central Academy of Fine Arts, and Department of Textile Art of the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts. From 1983 to 1998, he served as dean of the Central Academy of Arts and Crafts and director of Academic Committee of the Academy. Since the 1950s, he has successively participated in the design of the emblem of the Chinese Communist Youth League and the architectural decoration design of such key projects as the Grand Ballroom, National Palace of Culture, Capital Theater, Capital Airport, Yanjing Hotel and China World Hotel and participated in the 35th National Day of the National Day Anniversary celebration of the overall design consultant and organization work. In 1997 presided over and participated in the design of the memorial to the Hong Kong SAR government “forever blooming Bauhinia ” sculpture. He was elected to the twelfth and thirteenth National People’s Congress of the Communist Party of China, representatives to the Seventh, Eighth and Ninth National People’s Congress, member of the Standing Committee of the Ninth National People’s Congress and vice chairman of the Chinese Artists Association.
